Rajasthan to hold only one exam for recruiting IIIrd grade teachers
Fulfilling its poll promise, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today announced in the state Assembly to introduce one competitive examination for IIIrd grade teachers in near future.
"There would be one competitive examination under a new label of Recruitment-cum-Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) by abolishing two qualifying exams including one by Zila Parishad".
However, there was no mention in the Budget speech regarding the TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) conducted by the Centre whether the state will continue to follow it or not.
